Key Food ingredients was established in 2000 as a manufacturer of Butter Oil and a supplier to the wholesale
food industry. The company was founded Ged Lennon (Managing Director) and Paul England (Production Director),
who have a combined 60 years of experience in the dairy industry and have worked for some of the largest dairy
producers in the UK.
Key Foods initially established a production facility near Wrexham in North Wales where it remains today and
has recently doubled the size of its premises with the addition of a new office and warehousing unit. Today
Key Foods employs 6 members of staff and manufactures in the region of 15-20 tonnes of Butter Oil each week for
the UK and European export market.
The company has further plans for expansion through extended operating times which will increase production
capacity and continues to build relationships with new customers in the wholesale food industry.
